Meet Up

Meet Up is a biennial gathering of Australian youth dance companies, organised by QL2 Dance and held in Canberra in the off-year of the Australian Youth Dance Festival. Meet Up is an opportunity for youth dance company leaders and young dancers to maintain national connections, discuss important issues and opportunities, share knowledge and skills, and perform for each other.

The last Meet Up was held in July 2023, where Stompin, Yellow Wheel, FLING Physical Theatre, AUSTI Dance and Physical Theatre, Catapult’s Flipside Project and other independents, joined QL2 Dance in Canberra for four days of workshops, classes, talks, and a combined performance at the Canberra Theatre Centre. The performances were reviewed by Dance Australia and Australian Arts Review.
