Dance Films
MEETING PLACE
Meeting Place features eight Australian youth dance companies and 48 young dancers sharing common practices in a celebration of the power of youth dance. The youth companies were paired with another and sent to different locations, all connected by water.
Yellow Wheel (Melbourne), AUSTI Dance & Physical Theatre (Wollongong), Wagana Aboriginal Dancers (Blue Mountains), NAISDA Dance College (Gosford), Australian Dance Theatre's TREAD (Adelaide), Stompin Dance (Launceston), Catapult The Flipside Project (Newcastle) and QL2 Dance's Quantum Leap Ensemble (Canberra) filmed in four locations: Newcastle, Adelaide, Blue Mountains and Melbourne.
ALUMNI
ALUMNI profiles sixteen renowned Australian dancers who began their creative journeys in youth dance companies. The film is a celebration of their diverse pathways, kickstarted in youth dance.
